Massage Therapy Rates Effective January 1, 2020
Third Party Billing
Not all of our therapist are set up to bill RCMP, VAC, MSP, and ICBC so if you require any third party billing please chose a therapist that will submit a claim on your behalf. See the Therapists page. You may book with a therapist that does not bill your third party and you would pay the full treatment fee and submit the claim to be reimbursed yourself.
Most extended health care plans provide coverage for Massage Therapy Visits however we do not offer direct billing to extended health care plans. Please keep your receipt after paying for your treatment and you can use that to submit to your extended health care plan to receive your reimbursement for your Massage Therapy visit.
RCMP members are covered for Massage Therapy with a doctor’s referral and we will bill RCMP directly. Please let us know prior to booking that you will be wanting us to submit a claim to RCMP on your behalf.
Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), formerly DVA
VAC will cover 15 one hour sessions per year with a doctor’s referral for both Massage Therapy. Please let us know prior to booking that you will be wanting us to submit to VAC on your behalf as some veteran’s require pre-approval. If more sessions are required, you must request authorization from the VAC treatment Authorization Centre.
If you have premium assistance through MSP you will have 10 combined subsidized treatments per calendar year for Massage Therapy, Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, and Acupuncture. To request reimbursement for your Massage Visit you can submit on-line at www2.gov.bc.ca/assets/gov/health/forms/2944fil.pdf
If you have an ICBC claim and have been approved for massage therapy some of our therapists can submit a claim for a portion of the treatment fee on your behalf for 12 visits. The user fees are as follows:
30 minute treatment...$0
45 minute treatment...$10.00
60 minute treatment...$25.00
Therapists providing direct billing for ICBC include Tamara Schulz, Kate Coey, Chelsea Howard.
